Virginia Department of Social Service’s has created the Drive to Thrive Program that helps youth in foster care access safe and reliable transportation. It can support driver’s education, licensing, insurance and transportation costs so youth can get to school, work and other activities. Please inquire about support through your local Department of Social Services case manager, Independent Living worker or Virginia Department of Social Services.
