Get Involved

Worthdays is only possible because of the generosity and kindness shown by our community who join us in believing that kids in our local foster care system are worthy of being celebrated.

As a growing, volunteer led and supported organization, we depend on the generosity of those who help us in many different ways throughout the year. We believe there is a place every single person can help whether through spreading the word to friends about our organization, helping with a special project or making a financial donation. If you would like to make a financial donation, you can do so by mailing a check to Worthdays PO Box 72612 Richmond, VA 23235 or by clicking the donate button below.

Create a Birthday Box

Our biggest project throughout the year is celebrating birthdays of children and youth in our local foster care system (and those who have aged out of our foster care system). You can help by creating and donating a personalized birthday box for a specific child in foster care!

Host a Drive

Children and adults alike can help by hosting a drive to collect items that we are frequently in need of. By having these items on hand throughout the year we are better equipped to meet the needs of our local foster care system.

Help with a Special Project or Event

Beyond birthdays we celebrate other important days during the year such as high school graduations, holidays and support other special events impacting those in the foster care system.

Turn your Birthday into a Worthday

You can turn your birthday, the birthday of your young child or the birthday of a friend into a Worthday! In lieu of presents for yourself, you can collect donations of money or items for our organization while also spreading awareness about the needs of our local foster care system.
